Ecoflex 15 is a flexible and low-loss 50 Ohm coaxial cable for frequencies up to 6 GHz.

Hi-tech production methods and the use of a low-loss PE-LLC dielectric with a gas percentage of more than 70% gives it its low-loss qualities. The special design of Ecoflex 15 combines the excellent attenuation values of rigid 1/2" cables with fixed inner conductor with the ease of installation of RG-coaxial cables with a stranded inner conductor.

The high flexibility of Ecoflex 15 is achieved through a 7-core stranded inner conductor made of oxygen-free (OFC) copper. The inner conductor is compressed, calibrated and precoated, giving it optimum values for loss and matching.

Another "plus" is the double shield; on a thin, overlapping copper foil (100% shielding) is a braided copper mesh (72% shielding), giving it excellent shielding properties. This double shield provides for a high shielding rating of > 90dB at 1 GHz. The foil is PE-coated on the inner side, giving it good protection against splitting if the cable is bent too tightly. The black PVC Jacket of Ecoflex 15 is UV-stabilized.
